THE PROBLEM
As children face a tsunami of mental health challenges that former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy called the "crisis of our time," efforts to recover from covid-related learning loss and the deterioration of youth social skills continue to stagnate.
Kinsome builds a village of loving adults around each child, tapping into their collective wisdom and experiences to bring school lessons to life and foster deeper, lasting connections that support emotional and academic growth.
How kinsome works with schools
Through partnership with schools, Kinsome helps kids reflect on their classroom experiences to better recall what they learned, how they felt, and other moments, small and large, that shape their educational experience.
Kinsome provides emotional scaffolding and fodder for recollection to help kids actually remember and process these moments and lessons; kids aren’t just being difficult when they say they did “nothing” at school…they need help recalling!

In-app activities reinforce classroom curriculum in areas such as character development and social studies, while inviting the adults who care most about a given student to weigh in with their own experiences and perspectives.
